I am a 16-year-old Inventor, Innovator, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion ambassador, tenacious volunteer, STEM mentor, and a passionate student of science and technology to create a positive impact for underserved communities and the fight against climate change. In my free time, I love to strum to the tune of my favorite band, the Foo Fighters on my guitar(s), cook with my family, and love to read with my siblings as a family book club over winter or summer break.
My passion of the serving visually impaired community started to take shape when I noticed the acutely underserved visually impaired community in the age of technological advancement. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, I took action within my own realm. In 2018, I constructed Vision Assist 1.0, and continued to improve the solution with the award-winning device, Vision Assist 2.0, in 2019. Learning from the community feedback, the Vision Assist 2.0 was further enhanced and given a new name ODUS (Object Detection Universal System) in 2020, equipped with wireless functionality to provide better mobility and usability. In 2022, ODUS Plus featured cutting-edge computer vision AI and a resilient, user-friendly design.
California’s record setting wildfire season in 2020 burned an estimated 4.4 million acres, did not go unnoticed, and I set out again to find a solution. In 2021 I invented the multi-year award winning Project Regrow, for addressing climate change using drone technology for rapid seeding at scale. In 2022 the invention was further innovated upon and was featured on NBC CT’s Innovation awards.
Voting Rights and Education Policy Advocate
Testified for and passed a bill in the CT State Senate to mandate AAPI History classes in K-12 education in 2022, making Connecticut the first state to require these classes.
Lobbied with multiple senators for the John Lewis Voting Rights Act of 2021.
Lobbied and phone banked in partnership with Generation Ratify to promote reproductive rights.
Coalition for Sustainable Cheshire – Student Board Member and Web Manager
Established a Web and Social media presence for the Coalition, promoted sustainability and clean energy use in the community through various community wide events, facilitated town-wide events and presentations to the Cheshire Environmental Commission of the Town Council.

Student Board Member at the CT Invention Convention
One of the 3 Student Advisors to the CT Invention Convention (CIC) Board of Directors. Co-founded and co-led the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee on the Board of Directors to provide equal access and representation to all students in the program especially in underserved communities. Developed a curriculum for non-traditional students to participate in the Invention Convention program when not in a classroom

Ran a fundraiser that raised over $9,000 for providing students with prizes, experiences, scholarships, and support resources. Mentored students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Ambassador
Founder and President of Rams Against Racism club at Cheshire High School. Planned, coordinated, and facilitated school and town-wide events and projects to raise awareness and educate to cultivate diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
Created, developed, and cultivated a partnership between the Diversity and Inclusion Department at the LEGO Group of North America and Cheshire High School.

Over 750+ volunteer hours with organizations such as CT Invention Convention Board of Directors, the Coalition for a Sustainable Cheshire, the High School Democrats of America, the CT Democrats (Chris Murphy, Fight Back CT, Jahana Hayes, and local representatives), CT Food Bank, DoSomething.org, and Cheshire Public Library and engaging in civil services.
